I'm excited to share that I'm participating in my very first "One Room Challenge"!
I have been wanting to take part for a long time, but being stuck in a rental for two and half years (thanks to the pandemic and delays in home construction), I was very limited on ways to enhance my space.
If you've been following my journey for a while, you know that 3 months ago we moved into our semi-custom home that we built from the ground up. To be very honest we're still settling down and the house is not really complete. The builder will be back in spring to finish things.
This move has been quite a roller-coaster ride. First the delays in construction and then when we finally moved in, we found numerous quality issues in the build. While we were disputing on getting those fixed, we found that all our furniture in storage caught mold. What a nightmare that was!
I'm finally ready to leave the past behind and excited to transform my builder-grade home into a sanctuary that positively impacts my family's well-being, health and happiness.
In this video. I'm showing you the space which I'll be working on for the One Room Challenge and sharing my plans for the transformation
Do come back next week to take a look at the mood board and the pieces that I have selected such as lighting, rug, furniture and the wallpaper that will be going on the ceiling.
Also make sure to check out the other participants in this year’s One Room Challenge here.
Give me a thumbs up in the comments if you too are excited to see the transformation of my One Room Challenge 👍🏻
